The Boring Bit
No light bulb comes with our lamps. We recommend use of LED light bulbs with our lamps. All Lish & Chipps products are suitable for E14 sized bulbs only.Typical delivery time: 7 working days from purchase. Delivery & VAT included in product price.
Lish & Chipps is the trading name of Lish and Chipps Limited. All of our products come with a unique serial number and authentication code, do not hesitate to check and contact us directly if you believe you have been sold a fake or faulty product, quoting the serial number in any correspondents.
Due to small parts on some of our product we do not recommend usage by persons aged 5 and under, Lish and Chipps Limited can accept no responsibility for any damage or injury caused by use of any of our products.
A 30-day returns policy applies, to any product returned to us in its original state, for a full refund (less shipping). A 6month warranty on parts ensues.

The Bulb
The Bulb lamp draws upon one of the most iconic designs the world knows: the incandescent light bulb.
Joseph Swan worked in Newcastle & lived just across the river & can claim to be the true inventor of the light bulb, a full year before Thomas Edison. His design genius fundamentally changed the world we live in & has brought light across our planet.
We, like so many before & after us, are adding our names to the designers & engineers that tried to make this world a little better from the comfort of this grand city: Humphry Davy (the Davy lamp), George Stephenson (Father of Railways) & Jonathon Ives (Apple computers).
We wanted a symbolic gesture to this history we have become a part of.
The Egg
The Egg lamp is a tribute to a simpler, more minimalist way of approaching design. The egg itself is one of the simplest forms in the natural world & a symbol of perfect mechanical strength & engineering if used correctly. Although its inspiration is taken directly from the humble & aesthetically pleasing egg, this lamp is also as much a tribute to one of our most favouritest breakfast dishes: dippy egg’s & solders…
